Real Estate and Property Law

Real estate is often the most valuable property a family owns and is a major part of this law practice.  When somebody dies, thinks about dying, or becomes disabled, real estate often needs to be transferred to trusts, heirs, or buyers.  Thus, real estate is always a major part of what we do.

Estates sometimes have properties which are even harder to sell: silver, fine china, crystal, classic cars, collectables, boats, fire arms, and jewelry.  I once sold an airplane.

I started out practicing commercial real estate law in Atlanta.  Over time I have practiced extensively in several areas of real property: sales, transfers, title issues, zoning, permits, timber, trespass, nuisance, and environmental law.  Now as I focus my practice primarily on probate and trusts, my real estate experience continues to be vital since nearly every estate or administration involves real estate.

Few things are more difficult than losing a close relative or friend. I buried my own mother in 2011 and my father in 2018. I have been married now for more than thirty years, and I cannot imagine life without my wife.

A little peace of mind is perhaps one click away.
